Server News:
11/22/05: After spending some time tweaking the server, running a few test mods, and setting up the 'backline' we've decided to stay with the Evolutions 1.3 mod. Most likely what we're going to end up doing is running this mod for about a year or so. At that point we may end up running a different version for a while just to keep the game play 'fresh'. This is still up in the air and may not happen.
The server is back up and running so feel free to join in the slaugheter...did I say slaugher, I meant to say fun. ;)

11/08/05: The server is temporarily down. As you know we're still setting things up, working out bugs,
and trying to decide on exactly what to run on it. During one of our tests the FLserver was corrupted and will require
a full re-Install. It's currently 4:16 am my time and I'm just too damn tired to do anything about it. We'll have it back up
shortly. Your pilots/saved games are all safely backed up.
Sorry for the inconveince, but we did say we weren't quite ready to open the store. ;)
11/07/05: We took the server down briefly today so we could run some updates and clean a few Freelancer
related files. We're currently working on our custom ship add-on so if you're in a clan and play on our server,
please submit your clan insignia to ironfreelancer@yahoo.com so we can put
it on your clan's ships.

11/06/05: We installed the FREELANCER SDK 1.3 update patch. This is supposed to make the game more stable.

11/05/05 we installed the Ion Cross server. This program didn't like our setup and our game files were hosed.
Fortunately I always back up our game files and after rolling the game back and reinstalling FLMM and Evolutions 1.3
our server is back up and running. Everything appears to be ok on our end so if you encounter a problem, please email us
and let us know so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Server Rules
1) **No cheating.
2) *No abusive behavior.
3) No PvP in the New York System.
4) Clans are allowed and encouraged.
5) Being a bully or a jerk is NOT acceptable.
6) Have fun, play nice and help us keep the rules to a minimum.
Our Server currently runs
Evolutions 1.03
AMD Athlon XP 2200+ MMX 1.8ghz
with 1024 MB ram connected via 100 mbps cable modem.

Failure to respect the server rules can result in your account being kicked, banned and/or deleted.
** Cheating is not just running extra mods, trainers, and such, it is also exploiting game and or server related bugs.
If you're caught cheating on our server you can expect to dealt with in a swift manner.
We DO run cheat detection and logging software and how a cheater is dealt with
will be up to the Iron Maiden Freelancer Server staff, our SystemCops, and our game Admins.
*Actions considered "Abusive behavior" is at the sole discretion of our Server Admins, Staff, & Server Cops.
All information, including player data, characters, pilots,saved game data, and other FREELANCER related data on the Iron Maiden Freelancer Server is the sole property of the Iron Maiden Freelancer Server Staff.
By logging into our server you are accepting these terms and conditions and waive any possible right to legal action should your account be kicked, banned, deleted or otherwise blocked.
